Why Nutritional Philosophy?
I am a firm believer that good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle starts at home, and that we need to encourage and support healthy eating habits from a young age.
Ideally this sets up our children with healthy habits that they can embrace and grow up with, and hopefully prevent the many disease states such as diabetes, metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular disease that are on the increase in today’s society.
Eating whole food, food that is unprocessed, in its natural state with as little intervention as possible is the basis of a good diet and good health. Whether that is a vegetarian, paleo or ketogenic diet, whatever style of eating you prefer to follow, eating as natural as possible is the key. However sometimes just eating well is not enough. Whether it’s your inherited genes or the constant demands of today’s lifestyle and exposure to stress, air pollution, inadequate farming practices, toxins from personal products, wifi and mobile phones and many more negative health impacts, sometimes other interventions are necessary to keep your body in balance and in good health.
This is where I will use a holistic, nutritional approach, through the use of nutritional medicine, dietary and lifestyle advice, or why not try reflexology for stress management and its many other benefits, to help steer your body back to its naturally healthy state. So whether this is for yourself, or your family, let me show you how to optimise your health through holistic nutrition and stress management practices.
